In 1964, my husband
and I were living in New Jersey when we bought our very first English setter, "Lady", a pretty blue belton female from a good
hunting kennel in Delaware. Bill trained Lady and all of our setters himself for the field. Bill was devastated when Lady
died in a terrible hunting accident at only 18 months. After trying an Irish and then a Gordon setter, we found an excellent
replacement for Lady. "Pace", later CH Yankee Pacesetter, was an ES from show champion parents that was Lady's equal in the
field, and had a much better temperament for family life with our 4 kids.
In 1967, we moved to Pittsfield, Massachusetts
and took our kennel name from our new address, Andover Street. Pace was the first dog I ever showed and she won her breed
championship. As our first breeding female, Pace produced our first Specialty Winners Dog. Somers Autumn Moonlight, a handsome
son of Pace and CH Clariho Moonraker, took a 5 point major at ESCNE's Fall Specialty and I learned to make sure folks used
my kennel prefix from then on. Bill continued to "limit out" over our show dogs in the field, while I handled all of the showing
and breeding.

In 1999, I was widowed. I found a property in nearby Windsor
Mass. with 11 acres and a new house that I could manage by myself. I attached a garage, office, grooming room and small kennel
to the existing house, and built a puppy room in between the kitchen and my office. All pups are in the house with me until
they are sold. This place is perfect for the dogs. After all these years of producing gorgeous show champions, excellent
hunters, and much-loved and trusted family companions, I am gratified to have people coming back for their second and third
Andover setter. I still make proper conformation, soundness, correct temperament and strong hunting instinct the priorities
for every breeding I do. All pups come with a full written guarantee and I will take back any of my dogs for life, if needed.
I am a member and a signer of the Codes of Ethics of the English Setter Association of America, the English Setter Club of
New England and the Great Barrington Kennel Club. All litters are BAER tested before sale and all breeding stock is OFA certified
and BAER normal. Please contact me for info about the breed or available dogs. I love talking to people about my dogs.
